Catching Fire

I finished reading this book like...A month ago? And I really wanted to review it and expand on the post I made about Hunger Games, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I will though! It was so, so amazing. But again, I was left with a feeling of wanting to throw the book across the room after I finished reading it. I cannot wait for Mockingjay to come out in August.

(Spoilers?)
And for the record, I absolutely want it to be Katniss and Peeta at the end of Mockingjay. Or I want Katniss to choose Peeta, and then have him die. (I would prefer a "happily ever after" ending, but if I can't have that, I still want her to choose Peeta.) There are three other alternatives. She'll choose no one. She'll choose Gale. Or she won't make a choice at all, one of them will die, and she'll be with whoever is still alive at the end, which will be HORRIBLE because then she's not making a choice at all.
If she DOES choose Gale, I will throw the book. You get to know that character a little better in Catching Fire, but he's still not that relevant. Peeta was a huge part of the first two books. And when they went back into the Games and Katniss kissed him, she said it felt different than the first time they were in the Games when it was all a show. You can tell she's in love with him, she's just not ready to admit it. The way she carried on at the end of Catching Fire after finding out Peeta was captured proves it.
Should have saved all of that for the actual review, hm? I'm thinking about creating a new folder just for book reviews, since I love reading. We'll see.
